Most laser machines sold in India are assembled from imported kits. Plotbot is different: our engineers in Chennai design the motion drives, the controller board and the software, then build and test every machine before it ships. That is why it runs reliably for years — and why support comes from the people who built it.

In-house brushless motor and drive technology developed for Plotbot Fiber, combining smooth motion with responsive acceleration.

Our own STM32 controller board

The Plotbot motherboard is designed and assembled in Chennai around an STM32H750 MCU, with laser, motor, keypad and Wi-Fi control on one board.

Which laser cutting machine is right for a small business?

For gifts, crafts, keychains and low-volume custom work, Plotbot Plus (40 W, 2 × 1.5 ft) is the usual starting point. Sign shops and workshops cutting thicker acrylic and MDF choose Plotbot Pro (130 W, 4 × 3 ft). Plotbot Max handles full 8 × 4 ft sheets, and Plotbot Fiber is for cutting metal.

What materials can a Plotbot CO2 laser cut and engrave?

MDF, plywood, acrylic, leather, rexine, paper, card, stickers, stencils, fabric, felt and foam. Metals such as mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and copper need the fiber laser, Plotbot Fiber.

How thick can Plotbot machines cut?

Plotbot Plus cuts acrylic up to 6 mm and MDF up to 5 mm. Plotbot Pro and Plotbot Max cut acrylic up to 13 mm and MDF up to 8 mm. Plotbot Fiber cuts sheet metal, with the maximum thickness depending on the 1.5, 3 or 6 kW source you choose.

Where are Plotbot laser machines made?

Every Plotbot is designed and manufactured by Retech Lasers Private Limited at our facility in Kundrathur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The motion drives, controller board and Plotbot software are all developed in-house.

Do you provide installation, training and support?

Yes. Every machine comes with setup guidance, step-by-step video tutorials and support from the Chennai engineering team that builds the machines. Warranty terms are shared with your quote.

Can I see a demonstration before buying?

Yes. You can book a live demo at our Chennai facility or a video demonstration on a call, cutting your own sample material if you like. Contact us to schedule one.

Which software runs the machines?

CO2 models (Plus, Pro and Max) run Plotbot, our own free software for Windows that imports PNG, JPG, SVG and DXF files. Plotbot Fiber uses Cypcut, the industry-standard fiber cutting software.
